Company Overview

We are a technology development company. Our primary thrust is with regard to advanced colloidal chemistry research and development of transitory group metals in a manner that fosters such use in a very wide variety of industries and practical applications. We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of colloidal silver.

Our approach to research and development has been unique in the sense that our tendency to be approachable has fueled our having established virtually hundreds of working collaborative associations, associations which include experts from a wide array of industries and disciplines.

This has opened our research focus, product development and product uses to a wide variety of commercial and independent parties who have contacted us in their effort to resolve various problems and needs relative to our products and technology. Through these naturally occurring questions and answer exchanges regarding known issues, as well as developing solutions to unique objectives or needs has for us and all with whom this process concerns, been a science driver for knowledge and ability. This gives us the advantage of being unique in our approach, product offerings and experience.

The advantage of our assisting fellow researchers and commercial interests who have in turn shared their perspective and experiences with us, has provided us a knowledge and experience base over a long period of time in a vast array of industries and situations relative to our specialization related to colloids. We have found that although at first glance some may view the science and product line we represent to be obscure and not related to most industries, actually again and again we have seen the opposite to be true.

Our position has always been that colloidal silver has a rich and long standing history of uses that are not isolated to merely one industry.

Facilities

SynerGenesis's manufacturing facility is located on a three-acre parcel approximately 130 miles north of Minneapolis in Pengilly, Minnesota. This location houses our manufacturing facility, research and development facilities and offices. Due to the proprietary nature of the manufacturing processes we employ we do not offer tours of the facilities.

A few of Our thoughts and Perspectives

Since we have published this new web site in 2006, we have been successful in drawing additional attention to our company and products. Based on the number and types of inquires we have received it is clear that there is a high level of interest regarding the use of colloidal silver as a dietary supplement, as we anticipated. We already knew that most companies who make or sell colloidal silver have been involved from primarily the perspective of offering products that target only the dietary industry, with the exception of the emerging markets and products mentioned in the Colloidal Silver Knowledge Base at the Reading Room.

That said, it has also been our experience that a large majority of dietary colloidal silver products and manufacturers are not actually manufacturing or marketing true colloidal products. Most distributors are also confused as to what a true colloid is, and lack an understanding of the science involve. Additionally there has been a tendency among people involved in the manufacture and marketing of dietary products to not only lack understanding but also misrepresent their product and their knowledge of the science involved. The tendency of participants to become over zealous, make unsupported claims as a trend brought a negative response from the FDA to a head, particularly during the period from 1997 to 1999.

For a time this had cast a dim light on colloidal silver. That stigma still remains to some degree but is now beginning to fade, yet there are still plenty of people selling colloidal silver who do not have a clue as to the science involved and there remains much confusion due to the proliferation of confused people and marketing material. Other trends related to the dietary colloidal silver industry has been a tendency of one company to establish itself as the best by merely attacking competitors. If it were not such a disadvantage to the industry as a whole these developments would have been humorous. Our view has been that such activities would grow old and the industry would eventually grow out of that, and until then we would keep doing what we have been doing.

We have watched as various companies enter the dietary scene, most often with only limited knowledge of colloids, and virtually always marketing a product that is not in fact a colloid. Worse still is that it seems clear that many manufactures do not even produce their product in FDA approved facilities that employ the minimal requirement of GMP (good manufacturing practices). Such folks seem to have a tendency to operate from a defensive stance, having chosen a particular manufacturing approach that most often only produces and ionic solution, thus they are left to defend their product by fancy marketing, pseudo-science jargon and preemptive attacks on competitors. For those of you who wonder how to tell if a product is ionic, a rule of thumb is that, if a product is sold in a container that obscures the light such as brown or blue glass, or in any case the product is light sensitive it is most likely ionic. We have nothing against ionic solutions, we sell them too, but we do think it is important to distinguish the difference between dissolved silver water which is an ionic solution and a true colloid.

The reason that virtually no one sells a true colloid of silver is that it is exceedingly difficult for anyone to produce it, regardless of scientific background. We are also asked which is better ionic or a true colloid, the answer is each has its benefits depending on its use. How we deal with customers with regard to this question is to ask what is the intended use, and then suggest they purchase a sample of each and test it themselves. That way no one has to depend simply on our opinion, rather they can determine viability for their intended use themselves. This holds true regardless of the intended use or type of product development use or research being conducted. When we introduce a dietary version of our product we will have more to say with regard to that intended use at that time.

We have received numerous inquires that ask us, in essence, if we are heavily involved with colloidal silver then why don't we offer colloidal silver as a dietary supplement?

Our answer here should be obvious, but let us make our position perfectly clear. We do not view colloidal silver as a substance limited to dietary use. We have indeed been researching not only dietary use of colloidal silver ever since our founding as a company, but we have expanded our view of potential applications to be all-inclusive in a commercial sense.

We have viewed the dietary use of colloidal silver as a developing industry that needed to mature for many reasons and from many perspectives before we entered that market. At the time of this writing we are now of the opinion that we are soon ready to make present a superior product intended for the dietary market. We think that the dietary market related to colloidal silver, the industry as a whole and public understanding has matured to the point that we are ready to engage this market. We are not Johnny-come-lately to this market, we have intimate knowledge that started long before we formed this corporation in 1998.

We have always had products that are not only viable with regard to the dietary industry, but undoubtedly are easily shown to be superior. Thus our product strategy and marketing position is that the stigma once held against colloidal silver is falling away due to increasing knowledge and understanding of its value as a dietary product. The time is now ripe for us to provide a product offering for that market. As a special note, we have also in a sense been waiting for the FDA to establish its new manufacturing rules for dietary product manufacturing as law, so that we do not have to back-track rebuild or alter our facility to meet the final ruling requirements.

At the time of this writing we have begun the process of establishing an FDA approved facility for manufacturing dietary versions of our products that will meet the new CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) specifically for dietary products. In case you are not familiar with how dietary supplements have been manufactured in the past, the way it has worked is dietary supplements were manufactured and packaged as per food facility requirements. The new CGMP guidelines will be more similar to what is required of pharmaceutical companies than for food products. It is not clear when we will have completed the process of establishing a CGMP facility, so far the process in terms of cooperation from officialdom is less than encouraging or reliable in a way that would allow us to set a completion date, ugh!

As a final note, our experienced staff is among the most innovative anywhere, but our approach is to let our products be the proof of our competence, not merely standing behind a veneer of the usual trust us we are experts approach. We let our passion, ideas and character be the proofs of value and expertise be evidenced by our works in the form of our products, not merely titles and marketing jargon.

Lastly, please be aware that our processes are proprietary, hard-earned and as mentioned, closely-held. We do not patent our technology for several reasons, the least of which is that the patent once filed is in essence a schematic that others can use to develop processes that only need a percentage margin of difference to be employed to compete with us. Also a patent is time limited to a period of usually 20 years, unlike Coke's formula or KFCs recipe which lives on as the trademark and signature of their product with no limit. We know that without a map that describes how we do what we do, the chances of someone duplicating the process is negligible if not moot. Thus we keep our technology closely held in the knowing that what we have accomplished is difficult in the extreme, which affords us a healthy measure of self respect as well as personal advantage and security for those who employ our products and us as well.
